Cats Power Design (We), registered with the R.C.S. ANNECY under the number 403 428 931, whose headquarters are located at 2 chemin de Branchy, 74600 Annecy, is the data controller within the Regulation (EU) 2016/679 known as the General Data Protection Regulation - RGPD, for the collection and processing of personal data carried out on this website.

Why we process your data

The personal information you choose to provide will only be processed for the following purposes:

  • Based on the performance of a contract to which you are a part or for the performance of pre-contractual measures taken to your request :
    • to respond to your requests for information (contact form),
    • to analyze your needs and send you our quotes.
  • Based on your consent to send you our newsletter, or deposit certain cookies on your browser.
  • Based on the legal basis of our legitimate interest to offer you a quality and secure service, always going as close as possible to your expectations:
    • to operate, improve and secure our services, by receiving information about how the service is reached and used ("Usage Data"). Who are the recipients of your data?

In strict compliance with the purposes set out above, your data is processed primarily by our departments in the course of their usual duties.

They are also likely to be exchanged with the company Cats (a member of our group) and some of our subcontractors and providers.

We require all of these third parties to apply at least the basic security rules defined by the CNIL on administrative, technical, and organizational aspects in order to protect your shared data from unlawful disclosure, use, modification and destruction.

What about social networks?

In order to give you the most complete services, you have the ability to easily share the pages you visit on your favorite social networks. The use of buttons allowing access to social networks is likely to result in the collection and exchange of certain data between the social networks and our site.Our site uses "plug-ins" or social modules on its various pages ("share" buttons on third-party social networks such as LinkedIn). When you visit a page of our site containing such social modules, a connection is automatically established with the servers of the social networks (LinkedIn...) which can then be informed that you have accessed the corresponding page of our site. If you wish to limit the information published or known by these social networks concerning your actions on our site, we advise you to disconnect from your social networks before visiting our site.

In order to protect your privacy, however, we have limited the information that is automatically transmitted through these networks.

In this context, the social network in question collects information that is specified in their own personal information protection policy, which we invite you to consult and on which you can act in the settings of each social network.

We are not responsible for the use that is made of your data by these social networks on their own behalf.

To conclude on this issue, we inform you that the information transmitted to the various social networks under the conditions we have mentioned may be transmitted and processed by these companies via their servers located in several countries around the world, including the United States, in accordance with their own privacy policies which we invite you to read.

How long is your data kept?

Your data is kept for the time necessary to achieve the purposes described above and in compliance with the effective legislation.

If you are a customer of our company, we keep your personal data for the time necessary to follow up on your relationship with us, i.e. three years from our last contact.

However, data required to prove a right or a contract, or that must be kept in order to comply with a legal obligation, will be kept for the period of time required by the applicable law. For example, data proving your purchases are kept for at least five years after the purchase.

Connection data (IP address, date and time of connection, pages consulted) are kept for a maximum period of 6 months.

At the end of these periods, they are then archived, anonymized or deleted in accordance with our archiving policy.

Transfer of your personal data

Your personal data is not transferred outside the European Economic Area.

What are your rights?

You have the right to access, rectify and delete data concerning you. You can request the portability of those data. You also have the right to object to the processing carried out or to request the limitation of such processing.

You can issue a statement to the effect that the data is not used for any purpose.

You may issue directives on the retention, deletion or disclosure of your personal data after your death.

To exercise your rights, please contact:

Proof of identity is indeed a specific request of the law "Informatique et Libertés" and sending such documents by email does not ensure security, the passage by mail becomes necessary.
