Dolphin Charger launches 2nd Generation of chargers

ANNECY REGION (France), 15 November 2002 – French marine supplies distributor REYA and POWER FIRST, the French expert in power conversion solutions, are today launching the second generation of their cutting-edge battery charger, Dolphin Charger.

This new generation of chargers will feature a unique variety of 10 charging programs as well as power factor corrector (PFC) in order to improve efficiency and further comply with international standards.

The first generation of Dolphin chargers, many of which are still in operation today, featured cutting edge design and technology and were quickly adopted by professional and leisure boaters alike. With the present, second generation, electronic technology shifts to surface mount-design, and considerable focus is placed on the aesthetics in order to combine both form and function.

POWER FIRST specializes in power conversion solutions. It created the Dolphin Charger brand in 1995 and manages its R&D. REYA is a leading French marine electrical equipment distributor. It is in charge of marketing and sales of all Dolphin Charger products.
