Dolphin PRO Series “speaks” Italian and Dutch through CAN-bus

CANNES (France), 20 June 2014 – Products in the Dolphin Charger PRO Range are now fully certified as compatible with NAVIOP Automation (Forli, Italy) and MARBLE Automation (Urk, Netherlands) systems thanks to their CAN-bus interface.

“In other words: Dolphin ChargerS PRO products can now communicate crucial information to any CAN-bus based system and make this information visible on the bridge, or wherever needed”, says Nicolas Fata, in charge of Dolphin Charger. “HMI (Human-Machine-Interface) is at the heart of Dolphin Charger R&D these days”, he says.

Both NAVIOP and MARBLE systems allow boat users to customize monitoring of their onboard data (engine power, battery capacity, etc.) on one or more monitors.

Dolphin Charger is a specialist in robust standard and customized power conversion-and-supply solutions for the recreational and professional marine markets. It started operations in 1995 near the shores of the Annecy Lake in the French Alps. The brand is managed and distributed by REYA (Alliance Marine Group, France). The brand’s R&D is provided by French custom-power expert CATS POWER DESIGN.
